Nigeria’s social media space has recently been ‘geeked’ by Tapswap, a DeFi project – in layman’s terms, a crypto mining project that’s based on Telegram and promises financial rewards relative to your (tapping) efforts. But how does Tapswap work?

As mentioned earlier, Tapswap works on Telegram. Therefore, once you have it set up, you simply have to engage with the Tapswap bot by tapping on its coin icon as repeatedly as you can. The more you tap, the more you earn what is called Tap Tokens.

- Boosters: You can accelerate your coin earnings by completing tasks and unlocking boosters.
- Leagues: You can join leagues to compete with other users as you earn more tokens.

The overall objective, or endgame, is to garner as many tokens as possible in the hope of exchanging them on the Solana blockchain for the $TAP coin, which is expected to be launched at the end of this month (rumoured to be May 30th).
